Since having formed the business Heritage Intelligence (WA), Laura’s career has been spent in delivering professional consultancy services including as Heritage Adviser.
The Shire of Narembeen started it all with an engagement to prepare conservation plans for their stunning 1939 art deco Memorial Hall, lesser hall and roads board building, and then their heritage inventory. That was the beginning of Laura’s passion for regional Western Australia where she has shared her enthusiasm, expertise and experiences with local governments, community groups and private owners to help understand, appreciate, value and respect their heritage and then proceed to conserve and celebrate our State’s unique cultural heritage places.
